Appeals

If an accommodation is denied, the parent/guardian may appeal the decision.  See NCSSM Institutional Policy on Student, Employee, and Applicants for Admission/Employment Accommodations for further information.

Failure to Receive Approved Accommodations

If a student does not receive an accommodation approved in the Individualized Accommodation Plan, the student should speak with the instructor of their course in which the accommodation was not received. If further action is needed after the conversation with the instructor, the student should immediately notify Accessibility Services staff.
